Job Description

This position is responsible for coordinating all activities for the Pharmaceutical Primary Packaging Segment, including glass bottles, caps, API, Excipients, etc. and managing the corporate relationships with the key converters and developing strong relationships with targeted end users. Responsibilities include managing price, product, quality, service, new product introductions, and communications. Will work with/through regional personnel in an effort to develop and increase and/or maintain share/profit position with these assigned accounts and in an effort to increase exposure on a national basis. Primary Responsibilities:
Strengthens and develops relations with key personnel of national accounts through extensive personal contacts at all levels of management, correspondence, and regular attendance at trade association meetings.
Has technical understanding of the Middle East Phamaceutical and medical sectors \xe2\x80\x93 can trouble shoot issues during qualificiations on cup formers or while visiting customer locations
Has strong market knowledge of Medical applications. Understand value proposition required to win in this market
Know how to develop a \xe2\x80\x98pull\xe2\x80\x99 strategy by working with end users to specify our products if necessary
Knows how to work with Cooling Solutions to optimize value of our products on their equipment/in their applications.
Makes recommendations regarding adjustments in prices and coordinates all pricing activities to include the communications of changes in price and both internally and externally
Monitors and coordinates involvement with assigned accounts with respect to contracts and bid proposals. Maintains proper linkage with the line groups at all times
Works with appropriate personnel in an effort to develop new product and service offerings for assigned accounts as well as expanded applications for traditional product lines
Reviews customer complaints and works with plant and/or regional personnel to ensure that all concerns are resolved expediently and to the complete satisfaction of the account involved
Is responsible for ensuring products are managed and kept within the terms of the customer agreement.
Is responsible for identifying cost savings projects that drive value for the customers
Required Skills:
Must have a minimum 4 year college degree.
Must have 10 years industry Pharmaceutical experience and a minimum of 3 years commercial selling/marketing experience with national account management experience
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Must have good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word This is a progression position and could be a level I, II, III or Manager. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience and education, and current business needs.
