Job Description

Responsibilities:

Leads and steers the license managers within the Petroleum & Corporate Solutions team in driving excellence across advancing application performance efforts Collaborates with the Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Leads (business partners) Surface, Subsurface, and Corporate Managing an Application portfolio composed of ~200+ applications, and used by 2000+ users in their daily activity 4 License servers + 2 Core servers located in 2 data centers, hosting 56 applications, 10 of which are critical applications Contributes to the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) process, in relation to 100+ different vendors, to manage implementation of possible optimization opportunities Interfaces with DBS internal teams (Infrastructure & Support team, InfoSec team, Data Management, and CAB board) as custodian of the Petroleum & Corporate Applications portfolio/CMDB and any projects/activities with Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Team Develops and maintains an understanding of the company's business processes and systems, and identifies opportunities to improve and optimize them

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry 5+ years of experience in application portfolio management or related role Strong knowledge of license optimization tools and license management Strong experience in petroleum & Corporate applications governance and performance management Excellent leadership & communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Intermediate skills in planning and coordination Knowledge of IT governance and best practices related to application management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong English proficiency both spoken and written
