We are seeking an experienced Petrochemical Trader with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all oil and gas related products, with a proven track record of successfully trading in petrochemicals. The Petrochemical Trader will be responsible for buying and selling petrochemical products to maximize profit and minimize risk. Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, demand and supply factors, and price movements to identify opportunities for trading petrochemical products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other industry participants.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers and customers.
- Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, accounting, and legal, to ensure effective execution of trades and compliance with regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry news, trends, and regulatory changes that may impact trading activities.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in petrochemical trading or related field in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of all oil and gas related products and their market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successful petrochemical trading and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.
