Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-service grooming for cats and dogs, including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, de-shedding, and haircuts. Handle pets safely and with care, especially those that are nervous or have behavioral sensitivities. Assess pet coat and skin conditions and report abnormalities to the veterinary team. Maintain grooming tools and sanitize equipment regularly. Ensure the grooming area is clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards. Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, styles, and care instructions. Maintain grooming schedules and manage appointment times effectively. Assist with the care and comfort of pets before and after grooming sessions.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of proven grooming experience in a pet salon, veterinary clinic, or pet care facility. Professional grooming certification is a strong advantage. Experience handling both cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. Knowledge of grooming tools, products, techniques, and breed-specific styles. Strong attention to detail and excellent animal-handling skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
