Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in grooming dogs and cats of various breeds, strong attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals. This role requires grooming expertise, patience, and excellent customer service skills to ensure both pets and owners are satisfied with their grooming experience.

Key Responsibilities

Bathe, dry, brush, and trim pets (dogs and cats) of all sizes and breeds.

Perform haircuts and styling as requested by clients or breed standards.

Clip nails, clean ears, brush teeth (if required), and check for signs of health or skin issues.

Handle pets with care and patience, including those that are anxious or aggressive.

Consult with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and provide recommendations.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment at all times.

Sanitize grooming tools and equipment regularly to ensure hygiene and safety.

Keep detailed grooming notes and update pet records after each appointment.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Pet Groomer (dog and cat grooming preferred).

Strong knowledge of grooming techniques, tools, and breed-specific cuts.

Compassionate and patient with animals.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit to handle pets of different sizes.
