Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling.
Handle pets gently and with patience, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Consult with pet owners to understand grooming needs and recommend appropriate styles.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas.
Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort and report concerns to management/owners.
Follow proper handling techniques for pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Keep accurate records of grooming services and client preferences.
Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with pet owners.
Proven experience as a pet groomer or completion of a grooming certification program.
Knowledge of grooming techniques, tools, and breed-specific styles.
Ability to handle pets of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical stamina to lift and handle pets and stand for extended periods.
Patience, compassion, and genuine love for animals.
