Bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments ( cats & dogs )
Trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair
Ensuring that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition
Inspecting the animal for any external signs of parasites, disease or injury and reporting their findings to owners
Sanitizing all of the clippers, combs, brushes and other tools used on pets to prevent spreading diseases among their clients
Demonstrated passion for animals
Ability to work comfortably with animals, including anxious ones
Ability to stand for at least two hours and lift animals weighing over 50 pounds
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
Well-developed verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
ensure the grooming room is clean
