We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Permits Personnel (Public Relations Officer) to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing permit applications and maintaining positive relationships with government agencies while representing our organization's interests to the public.
Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to support the organization's permit acquisition processes
Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate the permit approval process
Monitor and track the status of permit applications, providing regular updates to stakeholders
Craft clear and concise communications for internal and external audiences regarding permit-related matters
Organize and participate in meetings with government officials and community representatives
Manage media relations and respond to inquiries related to permits and organizational activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with permit requirements and regulations
Maintain accurate records of all permit-related communications and documentation
Stay informed about changes in local and international permit regulations and communicate updates to relevant parties
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in public relations or a related field, with a focus on permit management
Proven track record of successfully navigating permit application processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in public relations software and tools
In-depth knowledge of local and international permit regulations
Experience in liaising with government agencies and regulatory bodies
Understanding of corporate communications and media relations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Professional certification in Public Relations (e.g., APR - Accredited in Public Relations) preferred
* Familiarity with Qatar's business environment and regulatory landscape is highly desirable
