MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party
Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers
Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits
Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.

Manage the daily till (Cash/Deposit) and till procedures.
Handle goods and deliver them to the clients.

xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfOptimize greeting (Greetings/Department at the end of the sales transaction)
xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfEffectively train and direct the activities of cashier assigned to the front end and set the standard for customer service.

Provide on the job training to the junior cashiers

Accepts cash, cheques, wire transfers or credit cards for payment and completes cheque and credit card transactions according to established procedures and guidelines
xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfEnsure register/counter areas are neat and stocked with necessary supplies
Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner
Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill
Sort and count currency and coins
Issue receipts and change to customers
xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfCount money at the end and beginning of each shift
Process credit card and check payments
Perform the duties of customer service representative when required
Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices
Open and close tills
