We are seeking a Performance Monitoring Engineer to provide experience in products accounting within a hydrocarbon accounting model.   • Bachelor or master\'s degree in chemical engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years\' experience in process engineering of which 5 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the role of production Accounting & conducting unit wise mass balance & troubleshooting with strong knowledge in measurement systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of custody transfer metering systems is added advantage.
Duties and Responsibility:
  • Products Accounting: Review, track, and report on daily and monthly basis the production data, consumption quantities and material balance for each specific process unit based on Petro Rabigh accounting requirement.
  • Production Accounting Model: Supports the preparation, update, review of the Production Accounting Model
  • Runs & maintains the Hydrocarbon Accounting System that is used to perform daily and monthly production accounting.
  • Mass Balance: Conduct complex wide mass balance using DVR application.
  • a) Ensure that tank farm operation is doing water cut for all slop, crude, and products tanks in monthly basis.
  • b) Monitor feedstock meters
  • c) Monitor tank inventories and check for any discrepancies in inventory measurements.
  • d) Monitor fuel consumption for overall complex and report any deviations from target
  • Loss Reduction: Support all manufacturing unit to identify improvements area to control material losses and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Tools and Solution: Provides input and identify the requirements in the development process and maintenance of the mass balance/data reconciliation and production accounting software modules.
  • Upkeep of DVR system and MB model for the complex wide mass balance calculation including the different input data capturing process, loss identification & account and reporting of losses and ensure that tools and or model are fully auditable with all necessary tracking mechanisms of all records and data.
  • Measurement Review: Reviews and ensure reliability of production data and the different measurement and liaise with relevant supporting departments for any correction including but limited to items such as flow meters accuracy, temperature measurement, density measurement calibration of the meters, etc.
  • Monitor flow meter and all product transfer measurement and collaborate with all related parties for the necessary calibration of the meters/Provers & tanks \xe2\x80\xa6etc.
  • Minimize and control the loss by monitoring, verifying measurements, investigation, and developing the necessary corrective/preventive action plan and follow-up implementation.
  • Liaise with all concerned in developing plans to improve measurement, such as evaluating and implementing recent technology, adding new flow meters etc.
  • Reviews and ensure proper input to mass balance calculation and liaise with concerned parties for any correction including but limited items such as flow meters accuracy, temperature measurement, etc.
  • Performance monitoring: Maintain EKON$ reporting system with necessary upgrades and changes.
  • Process Unit Performance: Liaise with PED to reduce MB losses in specific units and improve overall complex mass balance closure.
  • Performance Management: Prepare and on-time reports all related KPIs and support Company benchmark study regarding mass balance and fuel consumption e.g. Solomon Associate benchmark.
  • Ship to Shore Difference and Quantity Measurement Discrepancy: Develop and implement full process of monitoring and investigating cargo volume discrepancies (ship/shore difference) at loading port and discharge ports in line with relevant Marketing Agreements and international maritime standard and ensure proper and stringent measurement controls are in place.
  • Flare monitoring: a) Flare Monitoring: Monitor and report on daily / monthly basis the flaring amount and estimated financial magnitude. Lias with PED/TSD to correct/verify estimation of flare quantity (Formula, composition adjustments etc)

The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. If your phone interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, and they will invite you to a video interview when hiring managers are available. If your resume is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you. 2.3 Video interviews with hiring managers: which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field. 3. Conditional Offer A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
