We are currently looking for People and Culture Executive to join the opening team of 25hours Dubai One Central.

What you will be doing:
  • You will be working on administrative tasks in the areas of accounting and Human Resources management, and every day you'll learn something new.
  • You will coordinate Heartists events, process assessments, and if necessary you will bring order to the uniform store.
  • You will honour agreements, even when your appointments diary and email inbox are full and all your colleagues are in the office at the same time.
  • You will support various projects in the hotel, and pitch in whenever helping hands are needed.
  • You will always keep the overall picture in view, even when everyone's calling at the same time and the phone lines are red hot.
Your experience and skills include:
  • You've just finished your education or studies, you've already had work experience in the People and Culture or finance field, and you speak good English
  • You have the ability to get people excited about our concept, and you're keen to develop your own projects
  • You are conscientious, and you've got a good flair for figures
  • You are a doer- and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it
  • You are not just bringing your abilities, but also your character
  • Draft HR documents, such as HR policies, job descriptions, etc., encompassing all areas of HR activity, in order to ensure that the Hotel's HR supporting documents are documented in a transparent and clear manner.
  • Act as an interface for Hotel Colleagues to answer any transactional queries regarding HR policies and procedures, in order to provide further clarity and transparency on the same.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Hotel's HR frameworks, by preparing communications, arranging trainings and HR events, launching the yearly performance management campaign etc., in order to ensure that HR activities are carried as per the agreed upon plans and timelines.
  • Support the development of the induction program and the on-boarding of new employees in order to provide them with clarity on company background, expected performance and behaviours as well as to ensure a smooth integration process.
  • Provide HR administrative services, such as the preparation and delivery of HR documents and letters (employment letters, salary letters, etc.) in order to ensure that they are developed in a correct and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the HR Shared Service Centre (SSC) on other transactional HR matters such as visa, housing and external administration coordination, in order to ensure that all HR services are provided to the Hotel in a timely manner.
  • Process the payroll of the Hotel's Colleagues on a monthly basis, in cooperation with finance, in order to ensure that salaries and other cash payments are transferred to the employees on time.
  • Support the development of reports and dashboards related to the performance of HR initiatives in order to continuously provide visibility on the progress achieved, in a visually compelling manner.
  • Record and file all employee records within the relevant system in order to ensure easy retrieval for future reference.
  • Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
