For more information, visit Worley.com Job Summary: The People Advisor 1 is responsible for working with business leaders and our Centre Of Excellence in building the Functional capabilities for driving sustainable, profitable business growth. The People Advisor will contribute to building a functional culture and operating environment that is conducive to attracting, developing and retaining - the "Best in Class" talent. In particular, s/he will actively input into the Functional Business planning and Growth initiatives to drive the strategic business agenda, underpinned by a diverse, productive and engaged workforce. The role is required to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of all People operations processes within the business.

The People Advisor will play a key role in the Organisation Development agenda as well as being responsible for overseeing the Employee Relations, Workplace Accountability, Diversity, Employee Engagement and Talent development imperatives.

Function Specific Activities Partners with Function Heads to build strategies that will engage people in delivering the organization's vision; plays an active role in engaging people on sustainable business growth; Recognizes and provides insights on business trends, barriers, risks and opportunities that may impact the business Acts as a trusted business advisor to influence Function Heads/team in the areas of employee relations and grievances Stewards the company culture by recognizing, articulating and shaping the need for change; drives organizational norms and values, and integrates the culture into Employees' ways of working. Co-ordinates with Travel Desk to ensure pre-onboarding requirements are met Manages the mobilization of new joiners and processes all documents required for the onboarding process Works closely with PRO and coordinates all immigration activities Manages demobilization, ensuring the correct processes are followed Schedules and conducts exit interviews, gathering constructive feedback for analysis Addresses all employee enquiries, supporting HR policies and procedures Keeps all people systems up to date and generates reports when needed Initiates and sustains continuous dialogue with leaders on change issues, and partners in exploring options for resolving the issues. Responsible for issuing letters, contracts and other documents Maintains and updates all HR related systems, sheets and data Works closely with COE for matters related to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, People Digital, Rem and Benefits Supports and drives both programs and initiatives with COE to build internal and external talent pipelines, ensuring a sustainable bench of growing and ready now talent for key positions for the business unit. Partners with regional People Advisors to ensure standard People systems, processes, policies, procedures, plans, and programs are in place and effectively utilized (compensation, employee relations, staffing, performance management, etc.). Partners with COE to develop and drive strategies/tactics for building a winning employer brand that nurtures the Function's aspiration to becoming the Best Employer. Ensures execution of relevant HR projects as per the business needs Supports the achievement of Worley Employee Value Proposition and Employer Branding in order to create a 'Great Place to Work' environment. Internal Interaction: Strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the Function and respective teams Partners and collaborates with Centers of Expertise and HR Team to create needs assessments, build strategies, leverage common work initiatives and obtain additional support to meet critical business needs and advance the people agenda Close interaction and problem-solving with the People Team Participates in Company projects on an as-required basis The focal point for Employee Relations, Diversity, Company values, and development initiatives

External Interaction: Internal HR Network Human Resources vendors, training and development consultants and suppliers External HR network Local Community network Other Human Resource Business Partner's across the industry

Functional Competencies & Technical Competencies Proficiency in Core Human Resource Skill Areas: Human Resource Planning & forecasting Talent acquisition and development OD & Change Compensation & Benefits Management Employee Relations. Ability to manage diverse and multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization Ability to develop effective and lasting relationships with stakeholders Excellent communication skills Sound understanding of local labor/employment laws Proficiency in Organization Effectiveness Practice Areas: Integrated Talent Strategies Development/Implementation Change Planning/Management Capability Development Human Capital Management Organization Design Performance Management/Culture Change and Team Effectiveness Knowledge of General Administration and Basic Financial Analysis (budgeting) Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Social Sciences/Business Commerce is preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resource generalist working with senior leadership teams and an overall experience within the Human Resource discipline and must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of at least 2 functional areas within Human Resources.
