Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating children's dental issues, including cavities, gum problems, and other oral health concerns. Providing preventive dental care services, which include fluoride applications, cleaning, and regular check-ups. Identifying early dental growth problems, correcting misaligned teeth, and supervising the progress of dental braces. Performing minor oral surgical procedures on children and adolescents to correct dental problems such as impacted teeth. Providing age-appropriate patient education and counseling on oral care, health, and hygiene, including giving advice on brushing and flossing. Using anesthesia and sedatives for patients who are nervous or having more complicated dental procedures. Documenting and maintaining accurate dental records for each patient, including noting treatment plans and progress.

Requirements Requirements Degree in dentistry from an accredited dental school. Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program. Valid state license to practice Pediatric Dentistry within the state of employment. A minimum of three years' experience as a practicing Pediatric Dentist. Excellent dental knowledge and clinical skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High level of professionalism and ethics.
