Job Description

:

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Infant & Newborn Caregiver to provide dedicated care and nurturing support for infants/newborns. The ideal candidate should have a patient and caring disposition, basic childcare knowledge, and the ability to support daily baby care routines. The role includes ensuring the safety, hygiene, feeding, and overall well-being of the infant while maintaining a clean and comforting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive care to newborns/infants including feeding, burping, changing diapers, bathing, and dressing.

Monitor sleep patterns and assist in establishing healthy routine schedules.

Maintain cleanliness of baby's room, play area, feeding equipment, bottles, and toys.

Prepare formula or assist with breast milk handling/storage as per guidelines.

Ensure hygiene standards and infection control practices for newborn safety.

Engage infant in age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities.

Track daily activities like feeding time, sleep schedule, mood, and milestones.

Assist parents with baby-related tasks such as baby laundry and sterilizing equipment.

Observe the baby's health and report any unusual symptoms or concerns immediately.

Offer emotional support to parents and maintain a calm, nurturing environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

0-2 years of experience in newborn/infant caregiving or similar role.

Caregiver or Childcare Certification mandatory.

(Preference will be given to candidates with infant care or nursing assistant training.)

Basic knowledge of newborn hygiene, feeding practices, and safety procedures.

Ability to handle infants gently and responsibly.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

First Aid/CPR certification is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
