Job Details

• Teach Physical Education and Swimming across primary and secondary phases
• Deliver consistently outstanding lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
• Act as a role model promoting healthy lifestyles and sports participation among students and staff
• Provide high-quality extra-curricular and squad training opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive performance standards
• Engage with parents and students using strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Contribute actively to the wider school community through events and extracurricular programmes
• Reflect on teaching practices and pursue ongoing professional development
• Uphold safeguarding standards and promote students' social and personal development

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or related discipline, with PGCE/PGDE teaching qualification
• Qualified experience teaching Physical Education within the National Curriculum for England
• Experience teaching swimming preferred but not essential
• Strong IT skills and ability to integrate digital tools into teaching
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement
