Key Responsibilities & Authorities
Administer and maintain the SOLIDWORKS PDM system
Implement and customize PDM workflows to optimize product data management
Provide technical support and training to users
Integrate PDM with other enterprise systems
Manage database configurations, backups, and recovery
Develop scripts for automating PDM tasks
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and other departments to ensure efficient data management
Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS PDM
In-depth knowledge of SOLIDWORKS CAD
Skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining SOLIDWORKS PDM
Expertise in workflows, vault setup, and user permissions
Ability to customize PDM to organizational needs
Proficient in PDM Server management and database processes
Familiar with scripting for task automation in PDM
Experience integrating SOLIDWORKS PDM with other systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional interaction
Capable of training and supporting end-users
Proven PDM management experience
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product development
Certified SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional preferred
Committed to staying updated on PDM features and best practices
Identifies process improvement opportunities in PDM systems
