Overview of the role
We are currently looking for an experienced PDI Technicians to work for Al Futtaim Global Aftersales in Kizad, Abu Dhabi. You will carry out pre-delivery inspection, basic services and minor repairs. You will ensure that work executed is safe, clean, efficient and as per recommend procedures.

What you will do

• Carry out PDI and accessories fitment as per SOP.
• Should be able to perform minor mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.
• Perform rework & polishing of cars.
• Ensure Customer cars are kept clean during PDI, rework, and accessories fitment & polishing.
• Ensure all equipment are in proper working condition including vehicle lifts.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accident to Foreman.

Required skills to be successful

• ITI (Technical school) or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• 2 -3 years' experience as Technician in Automotive service department of a reputed Franchise Automotive Dealership.
• Should be able to perform minor mechanical and electrical trouble shooting
• Driving license from home country or country of residence or country of previous work.

About the team
The role will report to the Foreman and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Service Advisor, Controller & co-Technicians in a daily basis.

What equips you for the role
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Diploma or ITI in Automobile or a Technical School graduate. You should have at least 2 to 3 years' experience as Technician in an Automotive Franchise Service Centre or Automotive Franchise PDI Centre. You can perform minor mechanical and electrical trouble shooting. You should be able to read, understand, speak and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions. Having a Vehicle Driving license from home country or country of residence would be an added advantage!
