The payroll accountant performs the end-to-end processing of Malta, Europe office monthly payroll for employees and partners including all journal entries. He/She will also handle the following: \xe2\xa6\x81 review and reconciliation of all payroll related GLs. \xe2\xa6\x81 intercompany payroll and relevant IF entries. \xe2\xa6\x81 Final settlements \xe2\xa6\x81 Weekly payroll (Staff advances/Expenses) \xe2\xa6\x81 Medical analysis \xe2\xa6\x81 Monthly pension/DEWS \xe2\xa6\x81 Review of EOSB balances \xe2\xa6\x81 Adhoc assignments Reports to: C.F.O. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\xa6\x81 Review and approve new joiners\' pay structures in the e-Pay system. \xe2\xa6\x81 Validate staff headcount and reconcile payroll data. \xe2\xa6\x81 Review, approve, and submit completed payroll files to secondary approver. \xe2\xa6\x81 Manage the addition and exit of partners in the manual payroll file based on confirmation from team. \xe2\xa6\x81 Update payments and deductions according to inputs from the UAE Payroll mailbox. \xe2\xa6\x81 Run Partner GL reports from SAP and update entries in the manual payroll file. \xe2\xa6\x81 Review and reconcile partner headcount and payroll data. \xe2\xa6\x81 Review and approve final settlement payments. \xe2\xa6\x81 Coordinate the request for funds in HSBC for settlement payments. \xe2\xa6\x81 Initiate payment processes (EFT/cheque) and forward them for Finance Manager/bank authorizer approvals. \xe2\xa6\x81 Review employee expenses and approve expense batches in SAP. \xe2\xa6\x81 Approve employee advance requests and partner payments. \xe2\xa6\x81 Manage entity transfers within MENA region. \xe2\xa6\x81 Conduct medical analysis as required. \xe2\xa6\x81 Facilitate statutory audit requirements related to payroll. \xe2\xa6\x81 Clear and review line items for accuracy. \xe2\xa6\x81 Analyze and manage monthly pension GL and DEWS payments. \xe2\xa6\x81 Perform GL clearing and pass journal vouchers. \xe2\xa6\x81 Handle mailbox inquiries from staff, talent, and partners. \xe2\xa6\x81 Manage ADGMA staff billing and payments. \xe2\xa6\x81 Prepare payslips for partners. \xe2\xa6\x81 Address other ad hoc requests related to payroll. \xe2\xa6\x81 Maintain and manage Payroll GL accounts. \xe2\xa6\x81 Provide support for policies and best practices in payroll administration. \xe2\xa6\x81 Foster and maintain relationships with talent, staff, and partners. Qualifications and Skills: \xe2\xa6\x81 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. \xe2\xa6\x81 Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a complex and multinational environment. \xe2\xa6\x81 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. \xe2\xa6\x81 Proficient in using SAP and other payroll management systems. \xe2\xa6\x81 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. \xe2\xa6\x81 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. \xe2\xa6\x81 Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance in the UAE. \xe2\xa6\x81 High level of integrity and confidentiality. \xe2\xa6\x81 Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes. \xe2\xa6\x81 Team player with excellent organizational skills. \xe2\xa6\x81 Excellent knowledge in MS office Job Type: Full-time Salary: From AED2,500.00 per month Ability to Commute:
