We are looking for an experienced payroll accountant to overview daily payroll operations in our company. Your primary responsibility will be to issue employee payments, considering deductions and withholdings. You\xe2\x80\x99ll prepare payroll schedules and records and you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute to various accounting tasks, such as updating payroll files. To succeed in this role, you must have strong mathematical skills and knowledge of national and regional laws on payroll and taxes. Main Accountability / Duties: \xc2\xb7 Manage all accounting transactions and making sure that all the financial transactions are accurate and complete. \xc2\xb7 Ensure timely bank and cash payments. \xc2\xb7 Organize office operations and procedures \xc2\xb7 Prepare Tax Invoices, Prepare daily and month end journal entries. \xc2\xb7 Reconcile accounts payable and receivable on a regular basis. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and reconcile daily cash and bank transactions. \xc2\xb7 Preparation of the Monthly budget of the estimate budget schedule of Expenses and revenue. \xc2\xb7 Prepare monthly payroll through WPS. \xc2\xb7 Oversee employee paychecks \xc2\xb7 Calculate net salaries considering deductions and withholdings \xc2\xb7 Ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate \xc2\xb7 Update general ledger and payroll files \xc2\xb7 Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules \xc2\xb7 Monitor paid and unpaid leaves \xc2\xb7 Process overtime earnings or holiday deductions \xc2\xb7 Resolve payroll problems (e.g. overlooked bank holidays, late payments, etc.) \xc2\xb7 Answer employee questions concerning payroll \xc2\xb7 Participate in payroll audits \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes \xc2\xb7 Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings process and prepare Monthly and yearly financial statements and other MIS reports in time. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and comply with all state required filings and documentation. \xc2\xb7 Compute taxes and prepare tax returns. \xc2\xb7 Manage balance sheets and profit/loss items. \xc2\xb7 Report on the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial health and liquidity. \xc2\xb7 Audit financial transactions and documents. \xc2\xb7 Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Previous experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role \xc2\xb7 Understanding local and governmental rules about payroll \xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel \xc2\xb7 Great computational ability \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail \xc2\xb7 A valid national certification (e.g. Fundamental Payroll Certification) \xc2\xb7 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field \xc2\xb7 Accounting graduate with At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 proven experience is required. \xc2\xb7 Should have knowledge of Accounting Software (SAP & ERP) \xc2\xb7 Follow up insurance payments/procedures from Insurance companies. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Fluent in English & Hindi verbal & written. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax system & financial transactions. \xc2\xb7 Must be attentive & careful with the details.
