Overview:

Payments Architects - Integration & IVR Exposure

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Architect to lead the transition from MT to MX messaging formats within our payment systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payment architecture, SWIFT messaging standards, and a deep understanding of financial services.
Responsibilities:

Lead Transition:

Oversee the migration from MT to MX messaging formats, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to payment operations.

Architecture Design:

Develop and implement robust payment architecture strategies that support the new MX messaging standards.

System Integration:

Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate MX messaging into existing systems, ensuring compatibility and efficiency. Work with the development team and vendors to identify design and development tools for effective delivery of integration tasks.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all payment systems comply with SWIFT standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Role:

Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in payment processing and messaging. Evaluate technical vendors and manage RFP processes.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize payment processing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Documentation and Training:

Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to stakeholders on the new MX messaging standards and processes.

Stakeholder Management:

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions related to the transition, demonstrating a commitment to project success.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Total Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in payment architecture, with a focus on SWIFT messaging standards.

Essential skills:
Payments Expertise - E- Invoicing, Payment Links, Cards Integration Expertise - Microservices, Middleware, BPM, API Gateways, Queues, Topics, SNS, IBM API Connect IVR Knowledge - Genesys Cloud, Genesys Engage Cloud Skills - AWS, AZURE BCM Awareness - DR Plan, Systems HA Good Knowledge of Testing- Unit testing, SIT, UAT, PT Risk Management - Understanding of various compliance, PII Data handling, PCI DSS, Cloud related risk management Understanding of Banking Systems - Core Banking, Digital Banking, CRM Soft Skill - People & Stakeholder Management skill - very crucial



Desired skills:
Hands-on knowledge of the latest payment technologies, architecture frameworks, and integration platforms. Experience in a business-facing role with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Working knowledge of defining API specifications for REST or web services. Knowledge of API and interface governance, design standards, and principles. Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure); professional certification is a plus. Understanding of hardware sizing and the ability to define application architecture that is highly available and scalable. Banking domain knowledge, including current opportunities and challenges in the financial services industry.
