Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented

Payment Cycle Coordinator

to manage the complete process of payment submissions and follow-ups with main contractors. The ideal candidate will act as a vital liaison between our Quantity Surveyors (QS), project engineers, and the QS teams of main contractors to ensure timely and efficient processing and collection of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with internal QS and project engineers to ensure accurate and timely preparation of payment applications. Submit payment applications to main contractors and follow up regularly with their QS teams. Track the progress of each payment certificate from submission to final approval. Visit main contractor offices when needed to follow up and expedite approvals. Coordinate with internal finance and accounting departments to ensure all supporting documents are prepared and submitted. Monitor internal workflow delays and follow up on approvals within the system. Maintain a clear and up-to-date Trello board (or Excel tracker) for all payment applications and their current status. Generate weekly progress reports and flag any delays or bottlenecks to the General Manager. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all stages of the payment cycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a construction or contracting company in a similar role. Solid understanding of the full payment cycle in contracting environments. Strong communication and follow-up skills in both English and Arabic. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with task management tools like Trello, Asana, or similar. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple ongoing payment cycles simultaneously.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
