The Position As Payer Evidence Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and setting the scene for optimal market access by defining payer evidence strategies, establishing key value proposition elements, delivering data and analytics, and ensuring strong value communication for Other serious chronic diseases (OSCD) assets.

The role will provide strategic guidance and identify key activities to ensure mid-long-term Market Access perspectives are reflected in key Therapeutic area development activities and business decisions and to strengthen Saudi Arabia's voice in the overall Region South East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) and IO strategy planning for Other serious chronic diseases (OSCD).

Your responsibilities will include: Develop and monitor intelligence on the market access landscape in the affiliate with respect to Novo Nordisk and competition access, healthcare system changes, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) developments, and general trends in the field. Responsible for defining the early health technology assessment strategy for Novo Nordisk Other serious chronic diseases (OSCD) portfolio and securing local management buy-in and supporting the execution. Identify key evidence gaps and drive a Payer Evidence generation strategy. Represent Saudi Arabia's access requirements in various internal fora and committees to ensure internal decisions are taken on data generation that enables successful Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and reimbursement. Maintain external expert network and drive advisory boards and early advise meetings and similar to inform Saudi Arabia strategies and business decisions.

Qualifications In order to be considered, you need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in patient access/payer evidence roles or similar, within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent. Fluency in English is also a must. As a person, you possess significant 'learning agility and will be someone who can thrive in a highly dynamic environment with the necessity to embrace complexity, high speed, and quick decision-making. Other important requirements are: Deep knowledge of Health Economics/Outcomes Research (HEOR), Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and Value Communication theory and practice and a thorough understanding of market access and pricing fundamentals. Experience in developing health economic and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) strategies across multiple healthcare settings across the globe. Proven experience in navigating through and leveraging a broad range of local data infrastructures. Robust experience in engaging with external Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies, Ministries of Health, and similar. Experience in analysing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking, and implementing tactical plans.

About the Department The pricing and reimbursement team is becoming more and more important in guiding the strategy when it comes to the access landscape as the market in Saudi Arabia has moved from only price-based access to evidence-based access. and this is our priority in the upcoming years to develop the needed value tools to communicate the value of our products and support the reimbursement discussions.
