to join our infrastructure and industrial testing laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating pavement conditions, interpreting testing data, and assisting in the design and maintenance planning of roadway systems. This role requires strong skills in data analysis, pavement design methodologies, and experience with pavement management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pavement evaluations using both destructive and non-destructive testing methods (e.g., FWD, GPR, DCP, core sampling).
Analyze pavement condition data (e.g., PCI, IRI, rutting, cracking) and prepare condition assessment reports.
Use Pavement Management Systems (PMS) such as PAVER, StreetSaver, or Deighton to support decision-making for maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.
Assist in pavement design using AASHTO and mechanistic-empirical design methods (e.g., AASHTOWare Pavement ME).
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from field inspections and laboratory testing.
Develop technical reports, data visualizations, and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support GIS-based pavement data analysis and asset mapping.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, structural, and transportation engineers.
