We are seeking a skilled PAUT - Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing technician to join our dynamic team. Minimum 7 years experience with Oil and Gas project

Qualification Required:

PAUT Level II certification (ASNT or PCN)

Min Diploma or technical certification in NDT Extensive experience in oil and gas projects

Additional NDT certifications

(UT, RT, MT, PT)

, and related codes Experience with PAUT equipment (Olympus, GE, Zetec, or similar) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in onshore oil and gas facilities preferred Good communication skills in English Valid UAE experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct phased array ultrasonic testing on various materials and components to detect flaws and ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare detailed reports documenting test results, findings, and recommendations for further action. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to analyze test data and provide insights for process improvements. Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated correctly before use. Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance procedures during testing operations. Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated on the latest testing technologies and methodologies.

Experience

Proven experience in ultrasonic testing, specifically with phased array techniques is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards within the relevant industry. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A relevant certification in ultrasonic testing would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
