Make necessary
adjustments to patterns after fittings
to ensure proper fit and functionality.
Calculate dimensions of patterns according to size, considering
fabric properties and material stretching
.
Accurately
file and archive graded patterns
with season and style references for future use.
Collaborate with the
production manager, lead pattern maker, QC team, sample makers, and production staff
to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any fitting issues.
Ensure that all patterns are
accurate, production-ready, and aligned with design specifications
.
Supervise and guide members of the production team, providing technical expertise and maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum
5-10 years of experience
as a Pattern Master or Senior Pattern Maker in the
fashion or garment industry
.
Proven expertise in
pattern drafting, grading, and garment construction
.
Strong knowledge of
fabric behavior, fitting techniques, and garment finishing
.
Proficiency in
manual pattern making
; knowledge of CAD pattern-making software is an advantage.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage a production team.
High attention to detail and precision in measurements and markings.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
