The position
As Patient Access & Public Affairs (PAPA) Director, you will be responsible for creating long term Patient Access strategies that align with the Global/Regional/BA strategies and leverage growth for the Novo Nordisk UAE portfolio.
You will be managing the right structure, capacity and tools for Key Account Management, Market Access and Public Affairs.
You will also play a key role in developing evidence and relevant PAPA arguments to provide recommendations to senior management for optimising market access and shaping the local healthcare environment.
In addition, you will be the ambassador for Novo Nordisk and responsible for strengthening, developing, and influencing local external policy and regulations to support key accounts market access, while enhancing and protecting the reputation of the company with relevant stakeholders. You will also be the local ambassador for Business Ethics within the affiliate and ensure full compliance with all Business Ethics SOPs. Furthermore, you and your team will be leading Novo Nordisk UAE Sustainability projects.
Qualifications
You have a university degree, preferably in Business or Science. A Master\'s Degree, in Health Economics or business would be an added advantage
You have at least 7 years of experience in relevant pharmaceutical industry and proven expertise in market access and in internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, can take initiative, work and lead a dynamic team.
You are a flexible, open-minded and dedicated team player. You thrive in a global environment of continuous development and focus on high quality and results.
Fluency in written/spoken English is a must and Arabic would be a strong plus.

The UAE affiliate is a part of the Business Area Africa, Middle East & CIS Countries (BAMEAC), in Region South East Europe, Middle East & Africa (SEEMEA) and has shown exceptional launch performances.
The UAE affiliate is a fast growing and dynamic organization aiming to cement Novo Nordisk\'s position in the UAE Diabetes, Obesity Market & Rare Diseases.
In order to achieve our goals, we want you to help establish leadership in the United Arab Emirates by providing quality medical and scientific support to clinicians (mainly influencers), other healthcare professionals (HCPs - nurses, pharmacists, other) and providing education on the same to our internal colleagues.
we are looking for a Patient Access & Public Affairs Director, who will drive our affiliate across the different Therapy Areas. Reporting to the UAE Vice President and General Manager you will be a part of the UAE Management Team, which is responsible for driving business across UAE.
