The position As Patient Access, Public Affairs & Business Development Director, you will be responsible for creating long term Patient Access strategies that align with the Global/Regional/BA strategies and leverage growth for the Novo Nordisk Gulf Cluster portfolio.
You will be managing the right structure, capacity and tools for Key Account Management, Pricing, Market Access, and Public Affairs and CE. Leading and developing the right organisational capabilities in the affiliate.
You will also play a key role in formulating the affiliate local pricing strategies with responsibility of managing the pricing corridor for the Novo Nordisk portfolio in close liaison with the Business Area and Global. You will develop evidence and relevant patient access and public affairs arguments to provide recommendations to senior management for optimising market access and shaping the local healthcare environment.
In addition, you will be the ambassador for Novo Nordisk and responsible for strengthening, developing, and influencing local external policy and regulations to support key accounts market access, while enhancing and protecting the reputation of the company with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications

• You have a university degree, preferably in Business or Science. A Master’s Degree, in Health Economics or business would be an added advantage
• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant pharmaceutical industry and proven expertise in market access, brand or sales management, and internal and external stakeholder engagement experience.
• Analytical capability and proven strategic leadership with an ability to synthesize insights, create focus, and influence the organization to move forward in unified way.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, can take initiative, work and lead a dynamic team and fluent in both written/spoken English, and Arabic would be a strong plus
• You are result-oriented and driven with a flexible attitude, being mobile in the national territory and international as well.
