Prepare, bake, and present pastries, breads, desserts, and bakery items according to restaurant standards.
Develop new recipes, seasonal menus, and dessert presentations.
Maintain high levels of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Ensure accurate measuring and mixing of ingredients.
Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product textures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry and bakery section.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards).
Manage inventory, place ingredient orders, and minimize wastage.
Train and supervise junior staff if required.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team for menu planning and smooth operations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dough preparation, baking methods, and dessert plating.
Creativity and passion for high-quality pastries and innovative desserts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Good time management, organizational skills, and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
