Pastry Commis
Job Description
The Pastry Commis assists in the preparation of the pastries, breads, rolls, and cakes according to the business's recipes and quality standards. The role also requires receiving and storage of supplies and safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas.
Responsibilities:
Follow the instructions and recommendations from immediate Supervisor to complete daily tasks.
Create a harmonious environment amongst all staff.
Control cost by minimizing spoilage, waste, proper storage, and exercising strict portion control.
Assist with regular stock takes and inventories.
Receive order and arrange storage of food supplies.
Prepare and cook high quality baked and other goods according to menu guideline and recipes.
Maintain all baking equipment ensuring it remains in good condition.
Ability to work in a team, demonstrating a collaborative approach with good communication between all staff within the business.

Salary: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
