Key Responsibilities
Preparation & Baking
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.
Operate mixers, ovens, and other baking equipment.
Follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely.
Decorating & Presentation
Help decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts with icing, glazes, and toppings.
Ensure products are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
Inventory & Stocking
Monitor ingredient levels and notify chef when supplies are low.
Help with receiving and storing deliveries.
Cleaning & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Support & Teamwork
Assist pastry chef and other kitchen staff during busy periods.
Help with plating and packaging baked goods for service or sale.
