Reporting to the pastry chef to train and supervise the pastry team for high performance.
Design seasonal, innovative pastry menus for all dining outlets and events.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in storage and handling.
Conduct regular quality checks across pastry production.
Manage budget and control food costs efficiently.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and procurement of ingredients and tools.
Handle guest feedback and ensure exceptional pastry experiences.
Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Qualifications
Expertise in pastry techniques, chocolate work and bakery production, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
Efficient, organized, and financially savvy.
Knowledgeable in food safety and quality standards with required HACCP certifications.
Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
