Job Description

Job Purpose:

To accurately pick, pack, and prepare automotive spare parts based on workshop and customer requests, ensuring efficient inventory flow and timely delivery to technicians and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parts Picking & Preparation

Accurately pick parts from the warehouse based on job cards, picking lists, or system requests. Ensure correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications before dispatching to the workshop. Label, pack, and arrange parts for easy identification and delivery. Assist in parts returns, replacements, and exchanges as required.

2. Inventory Management

Maintain proper stock arrangement and follow FIFO/LIFO methods as instructed. Report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to the Parts Supervisor. Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts. Ensure bins and shelves are clean, organized, and properly labeled.

3. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Parts Advisors, Workshop Controllers, and Technicians for timely parts issuance. Provide updates on unavailable or back-ordered parts. Assist in receiving and storing new stock upon arrival.

4. Operational Compliance

Follow company safety rules, warehouse procedures, and housekeeping standards. Ensure proper usage of scanning tools, inventory systems, and material handling equipment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum

1-2 years experience

as a Parts Picker or in an automotive spare parts warehouse. Good knowledge of automotive parts and numbering systems. Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience preferred). Ability to read job cards, part numbers, and technical descriptions. Physically fit to handle lifting and warehouse activities. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
