Position Overview
A Parts Advisor is responsible for identifying, sourcing, ordering, and supplying the correct automotive parts required for vehicle repairs. The role ensures smooth workflow between technicians, service advisors, and parts suppliers, maintaining accurate inventory and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
1. Parts Identification & Supply
Identify correct parts based on vehicle model, VIN, and job requirements.
Assist technicians in locating and selecting the correct components.
Prepare and issue parts for work orders in a timely manner.
2. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock levels of fast-moving and essential parts.
Monitor stock availability and forecast parts requirements.
Handle stock receiving, labeling, and shelving.
Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly inventory checks.
3. Ordering & Vendor Coordination
Order parts from suppliers or dealers as needed.
Compare prices, lead times, and availability to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
4. Customer Service (Internal & External)
Assist walk-in customers with parts inquiries.
Provide correct parts information, pricing, and availability.
Ensure a smooth flow of communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers.
5. Documentation & System Updates
Create and update parts requisition forms.
Record issued parts against repair orders (ROs).
Use DMS/ERP systems for parts entry, stock movement, and invoicing.
Maintain organized records of purchases, returns, and warranties.
6. Warranty & Returns Handling
Process parts returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
Ensure defective or incorrect parts are returned to suppliers on time.

Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and systems.
Experience with OEM and aftermarket parts catalogs.
Familiarity with DMS/ERP systems (Autoline, Tektronix, Kerridge, etc.).
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, inventory systems).
At least 1-3 years of experience in a parts department (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
