As part of our expansion, we are planning to open a new office in Abu Dhabi next year.

You'll play a key role joining a collaborative team, contributing to client work, shaping strategic initiatives, and helping us establish and get underway our very first office in the Middle East.




THE ROLE







We support clients in the Middle East, where we provide strategic insights to businesses and investors navigating a rapidly evolving policy and regulatory landscape in the Middle East and in other regions where they invest or have operations.





We are particularly focused on expanding our work with investors based in the Middle East or looking to invest there. Building on our strong track record advising some of the world's largest investors, we offer expertise across political, regulatory, competition, geopolitical, trade, and security clearance issues.





Our unique capabilities lie in supporting Middle East based investors as they consider current and potential investments in markets in Europe and APAC, etc, and providing regulatory support to firms in highly regulated growth sectors in the Middle East, such as financial services, infrastructure and energy, and technology.





This support includes end to end regulatory support, from initial risk assessments and ongoing compliance. We also provide ongoing monitoring of political, policy and regulatory developments,





We are looking for exceptional candidates with a minimum of 15 years of experience, with keen interest in politics, policy and regulation who will be able to help grow our presence and client base in the Middle East.





You will have:




In-depth knowledge of regulatory regimes and the institutional environment facing investors and corporates. A keen understanding of the political, regulatory and geopolitical issues facing Middle East based investors and corporates when considering investing outside the Middle East. A strong network of key stakeholders in the region, including senior policymakers, regulators and individuals in regulated sectors such as financial services, technology, infra and energy. A strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to apply that to business development, together with experience in scaling rapidly growing businesses. Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills - the ability to draw out the implications of complex evidence and analysis to give clear strategy and policy advice. Excellent leadership and management skills, including evidence of leading teams to deliver stretching goals under pressure, ability to delegate effectively and support individuals to succeed and grow; and outstanding organisational skills including the capacity to manage multiple client teams and work programmes. Outstanding written communication skills, with proven ability to draft clear documents for internal and external audiences with varying degrees of expert knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills - flexible approach and the ability to work well across teams, both with colleagues, clients or stakeholders. Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues to non-specialists. Personal drive and proactivity, you will be able to make things happen and be able to work comfortably under pressure, and to tight deadlines while maintaining highest standards. Fluency in English is required. Aptitude in other regional languages is desirable but not required (in particular Arabic).
