NADIA`s client, an International Law firm requires a bilingual Paralegal fluent in English and Japanese. The primary role of this Paralegal will be to assist the firm\xe2\x80\x99s practice of representing Japanese companies on their business in the Middle East.
The role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to learn and develop core legal skills, learn about the laws and regulations of the countries of the Middle East, and to meet and develop relationships with the local representatives of major Japanese companies. There will be a competitive package on offer for the right candidate. The position is permanently based in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Review and translation of correspondence, memoranda and presentations in English and Japanese
Manage project and client files
Research of laws and regulations of the countries of the Middle East
Be involved in management of firm know-how
Provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative support as required
Qualifications:
Native Japanese with fluent English (Arabic language is not mandatory)
Undergraduate degree, LLB from Japanese university preferred (familiarity with business and legal terminology and concepts is essential)
Advanced computer skills and familiarity with MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and excellent proofreader
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professional experience in legal position preferred
