Job Description

- Candidate must have good experience in masonry and painting works in a Maintenance Company - Multi skills masonry andwork that involves laying building materials including concrete and brick. - Tile fixing, Ceramic tiling, and painting. - Building, altering and maintaining walls, floors, and other related structures or surfaces. - Working based on blueprints, plans, or drawings. - Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry tile assignments through review of drawings. - Preparing surfaces prior the beginning of work. - Cutting bricks, stones, or blocks to their appropriate size. - Mixing cement, aggregate, sand, mortar, plaster and additives. - Laying blocks or bricks following laying out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels. - Apply sealants or waterproofing to protect concrete. - Responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. - Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint * - Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes - Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project - Calculating the amount of materials and time required for said project. - Ability to Climb Ladders; Ability to Carry Heavy Equipment (Including Painting Tools and Heavy Buckets of Paint); Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time; Attention to Detail; Excellent Communication Skills; ;Strong Ability to Follow Direction.
