Overview of the role
- To ensure that the assigned paint repair jobs are executed in line with Principle’s established work procedures and specifications, time standards and housekeeping standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded.
What you will do
- Operations-Execute assigned jobs according to principle’s established work procedures, specification and time standards.
- Quality: Provide quality workmanship for customer satisfaction. Minimise repeat jobs, which lead to loss of time and material.
- Comply with the ALAC Quality Management System and participate with organization’s improvement activities
- Safety and Housekeeping –
- Ensure use of safety equipment/gear and follow all safety and environmental conservation procedures
- Ensure cleanliness of the workplace, tools, equipment and of the customer’s car being serviced.
- Carry out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life of either themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying with health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.
- Time management – Planning and scheduling when assigned with multiple jobs

- Carry out level 1 repair and above.

- Paint film quality due to spraying condition
- Spot repair methods of metallic & coat mica
- Color matching II
- Toyota OEM color system
- Color matching metallic and 2 coat mica
- Computerized color matching
- Plastic parts surface treatment and painting
- Plastic parts repair knowledge (ABS, PP, etc.)
- Plastic parts painting
- Plastic bumper repair and painting
- Training and Developments – Keep up with new technology, work procedures, time standards and relevant technical knowledge to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.

About the Team
- The role reports to the Team Leader/ Foreman and will be an individual contributor
What equips you for the role
- SSC/Trade certificate/Vocational Training
- 3 - 5 years in a reputed automotive workshop
- Should read, understand and write English well enough to follow Toyota Training, Spray painting and color mixing
