Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Capable of performing complete painting process, able to mix and tint paint as required Have knowledge in computers or paint mixing programs Producing excellent vehicle refinishing quality with good efficiency providing a key link to Customer Satisfaction and Company profitability Ensuring proper handling of tools and equipment for maintenance of company properties Analysing problems of equipment and suggesting countermeasures as well as adherence to recommendations of Management and SOP on proper equipment handling Adhering to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by management Ensure quality color blending and mixing is done for the paint to match the rest of the vehicle color. Use appropriate painting technique - water based /base coat for refinishing the panels Use and maintain workplace; tools and equipment. Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures Any relevant ad-hoc duties may be assigned by the Management.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

S.S.C./Trade Certificate/Vocational Training. 2-3 year experience as Paint Mixer/Auto Painter within a reputable dealership/workshop. In-depth knowledge of spray booth operation Able to identify painting defects Understanding of mixing machines, colour mixing and similar equipment * Knowledge on different types of paint materials, handling of refinishing materials
