to join our warehouse or production team. The Packing Assistant will be responsible for preparing, packing, and labelling products for shipment or delivery, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack products accurately according to order specifications and company guidelines.
Label, seal, and organize items for shipment or distribution.
Inspect items for damage or defects before and after packing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
Follow health and safety standards during all packing processes.
Replenish packing materials and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Assist in loading and unloading deliveries if needed.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet daily targets.
Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or production role is an advantage
Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.
Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure during busy periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with packing or inventory software is a plus.
Experience in fast-paced work environments.
