Job Profile

The

Packer

will be responsible for accurately packing finished aluminum foil and other products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. This role ensures product quality, maintains cleanliness and safety at the workstation, and supports the production team to meet daily output targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Packing & Product Handling

Pack aluminum foil rolls, sheets, and other related packaging items as per company procedures. Ensure correct labeling, sealing, and wrapping of all finished goods. Inspect each unit to ensure it meets the required quality standard before packing. Use packing materials efficiently to minimise waste.

2. Quality & Accuracy

Check for product defects (dents, scratches, incorrect dimensions) prior to packing. Immediately report any damaged or defective items to the supervisor. Adhere strictly to Sentinel's quality and hygiene standards during all packing activities.

3. Coordination & Workflow Support

Work in close collaboration with machine operators, production supervisor and logistics staff to ensure smooth product flow from production to dispatch. Assist in transporting packed goods to storage or dispatch areas as needed. Keep accurate records of packed quantities and ensure label details (batch number, product code) match the product.

4. Safety & Housekeeping

Follow all health & safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the packing area clean, organised and free from hazards. Report any equipment malfunction, safety issue or workplace hazard immediately to the line supervisor.

5. Teamwork & Reporting

Support co-workers and assist in meeting production and packing targets. Attend daily shift briefings and follow supervisor instructions carefully. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a cooperative working environment.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or packaging role; experience in aluminum foil, food packaging or related industries is preferred. Basic understanding of product labeling, wrapping and material handling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to stand for extended periods, handle moderate physical work and lift moderate weights as required. Good communication and teamwork skills.
