We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Packaging Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in our production process, ensuring that products are efficiently and safely packaged. Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment, including filling machines, labelers, cappers, and conveyors.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure that packaging equipment is properly calibrated and adjusted for different products and packaging materials.
Monitor the production process to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Inspect packaging materials and product labels for defects or discrepancies.
Monitor the flow of products through the packaging line and make adjustments as needed to prevent jams or other issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate records of production, equipment settings, and maintenance activities.
Assist in training new packaging equipment operators.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Packaging Equipment Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain packaging machinery.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
