We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to the Principal. Experience working in a British Curriculum school and knowledge of safer recruitment procedures would be desirable. In this role confidentiality is essential along with the ability to prioritise tasks. We are seeking an organised, approachable and highly committed individual who can deliver the full range of administrative duties that comes with this appointment. In addition the successful candidate will also act as Secretary to the Board of Governors which will involve attending occasional evening Board meetings and events. Professional Experience: Experience in a similar role in a UK curriculum school. Familiarity with IT systems. Customer service background. Duties and responsibilities: Assist Principal:
Maintain the Principal\xe2\x80\x99s diary
Organise meetings with staff and parents, external agencies
Help with staff/parent enquiries
Organise events
Liaise with other senior management and/or all staff when required
Safer Recruitment:
Oversee all processes
Check all applications and prepare documentation
Send out Job offers
Update Single Central Register - SCR
Liaise with HR regarding recruitment
Lead reference check processes
Secretary to Board of Governors:
Organise agenda for meetings in liaison with Principal
Liaise with Board members
Attend Board meetings, take minutes and send to Board members
Onboarding of New Staff:
Answer queries from new staff relating to employment
Organise onboarding documentation
Organise flights
Liaise with other departments to ensure new staff have accommodation and school places for their children if required
Send out contracts
Chase responses to job offers and signing of contracts
School Policies:
Development and oversight of current and new school policies
Maintenance of school policy matrix
Human Resources - Employment Contracts and Staff :
Preparation, oversight and record keeping of all contracts and addendums
Liaison with HR on the above
Other HR functions:
Leave of Absence administration
CPD administration
