IF&P Superintendent Grade: 6 Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. An exciting opportunity exists to join the BAE Systems majority owned Joint Venture company 'Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Company' (SMSCMC) as IF&P Superintendent. The IF&P Superintendent will recognise, model and highlight possible solutions to fulfil demands placed onto IFS by Logistics at O&AT Operational sites within scope of SMSCMC. The IF&P Superintendent will be proactive in maintaining sufficient stock levels to manage schedules of Maintenance and Upgrade alongside emergent work in the most cost effective and time permitting manner to sustain SMSCMC O&AT requirements. The IF&P Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day control and direction of the IF&P team. Ensuring that they achieve enhanced aircraft availability through maximising asset availability whilst managing expenditure in line with allocated budgets (TBC). They will also have responsibility to recognise, model and influence requisitions for equipment through the Supply Chain in support of O&AT operations. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Managing Forecast information on Demand Forecasting & Planning IT. Maintain data, parameters and assumptions built into the Demand Forecasting and Planning IT. Forecast parts usage, determining and assessing future requirements. Undertake trend analysis and interpretation of usage and transaction data to verify predicted against historical usage. Liaise with the Arising Rate Management team when trends and usage are causing concerns. Determine any modelling requirements (e.g. fleet planning and maintenance schedules. Document, test, validate and present demand planning/forecasting results to non-expert personnel and senior executives. Liaise with engineering to ensure the correct bill of material are held for maintenance and repair activities. Assess the impact of engineering changes on the configuration and the Supply Chain whilst appropriate action is taken to assure availability and limit obsolescence. Carrying out periodic verification of all the parameters, assumptions and data. Producing New Buy and Repair Recommendations. Provide parts knowledge and judgment to Capital Spares Modelling. Liaise with internal and external customer organisations as appropriate. Maintain stakeholder relationships attending meetings as required and report daily any IF&P issues to the IF&P Team Leader. Providing management and support to structured On-the-Job training for Saudi National Supply Chain personnel. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Extensive Supply Chain Experience Essential Supervisory Experience Essential Expertise in Demand Forecasting & Planning Modelling Demonstrable experience and competence in MS Office Work packages Understanding of RSAF procedures. Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of cross functional datasets, the synergies between them and the business rules that apply to each.
