P & I Claims Executive

Job Description
Urgently require P&I claims executive for our team in Dubai
Responsibilities
- Achieve set financial target every month and follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle marine incidents and claims from initial notification to conclusion
- Read and respond to all correspondence and incoming mails from Principals and Members
- Give accurate information when required to clarify queries from Principals / Members
- Maintain accurate and regular time sheets of all work done and account for all disbursements
- Liaise with 3rd Party contractors and use them appropriately in terms of claim handling
- Build confidence of Principals / Members
- Increase business and profits for the department, secure future business
- Assisting team member within the department if needed in order to lessen the workload and to increase team efficiency
- Open communication within the team for smooth operation
- Should be flexible with work hrs : Day time working in straight shift accompanied AOH duty on weekly rotation basis
- Generating income as per budgetary targets. Maintain minimum outstanding and job ageing. Approve third party invoices
UAE Driving License
Good knowledge of local laws, good local contacts with agents, 3rd Party contractors, port and government officials
Excellent English communication skills with knowledge of other language
Proficient with MS Office and MS Outlook
Minimum 3 year experience in similar role Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
