Job Summary: This amazing family with three young children are looking for Mary Poppins. They are keen to find a nanny who has some formal training ideally Norland or Chiltern who will provide structure, can engage with the children on their level but who will be a good role model for them with a focus on manners, social etiquette and good behaviour. The family are based in Dubai but travel to Dublin usually in the Summer. Dad travels a lot for work, but mum will be around however she is taking a course, so this is mainly sole charge. The parents live next door and their will be a bedroom and bathroom to start with in their home, but eventually the family will look for a studio for you if you prefer. The family are warm loving and very engaged, they have a full-time housekeeper. Mum is laid back she wants the nanny to embrace what Dubai can offer and mentioned that Tuesday nights are known as ladies’ night and nannies love going out. During the school year the starts are early but you will have a good break during the day to do as you please , mum wants the nanny to have down time .
Accommodation: To start with, own bedroom and bathroom next door to the home in parents’ home, then separate accommodation will be provided if you want
General duties:

• Mostly sole charge care of all three children
• Help with providing structure, routines and settings up boundaries- the parents are keen for the children to have good manners
• Getting the children ready for school and Nursery
• School runs and pick up
• Organizing the children’s toys- ordering new supplies
• Organizing activities, play dates and games that will help with development especially for the youngest child
• Keeping the children’s rooms, play areas tidy- encouraging the older two to help
• Packing and unpacking for travel
• Help with the children’s meals and nutrition -the older one is going through a picky phase
• Travelling with the family overseas

Candidate requirements:

• The family are looking for a career nanny, Formal training or a childcare qualification with similar experience is essential
• Must have worked in private homes as a nanny
• Excellent English skills are also required to help the children with homework
• Ideally a confident driver but this is not a deal breaker
• A good understanding of child development, a good role model who will encourage good manners, and provide structure – the youngest was a covid baby so will need some help socialising etc
• An upbeat, positive personality who will work with the parents to raise the children, the family are laid back and want the nanny to feel part of the family
• All visas etc will be provided by the family
• You will need to be energetic ( 3 children ) and have the ability to guide the children to be independent
