An international family based in Dubai is looking for a qualified and experienced nanny or manny (preferred) to provide care and educational support for their son, aged 4.5. The ideal candidate will be a native-level speaker of French or English. The candidate should ideally be Montessori-trained and have at least 5 years' experience working in a similar role. Early childhood education qualifications would also be a plus. The family is really on the lookout for a positive, active candidate with a lot of good energy. The boy is very active and sporty, so a candidate with similar interests and an outgoing, bubbly personality would be welcomed. The boy attends an international school during the day so there will be downtime during the week. Academically he is doing very well and school and the family would like the nanny to arrange educationally stimulating activities and excursions when outside of school. The family wants the candidate to set up a stable routine for their son. This will essentially consist of a morning routine (getting ready for school, breakfast, school drop off), evening routine (school pick up, supervising homework, afternoon activities, sports, playing, shower, dinner, story time, bed time) and also keeping the monitor during the night. The family live in a fully-staffed house and have had nannies working with them in the past. The parents are very active in their son's day-to-day life and are around to support the children and the candidate when required. The family wishes to employ an energetic, caring and responsible person who is First Aid trained, hands-on, reliable and capable of working independently. The family is ideally looking for a long-term candidate. No cooking or cleaning is required but the nanny should help to keep play areas tidy and organised together with the little boy. The family also have a 1-year old girl, who has her own nanny. OFFER: Long-term position 6 days per week 7am to 9pm with a break during the day while the boy is at school (9am - 5pm).
