QAR 3,500 + Food, Accommodation, and Transportation (FAT)

We are seeking an experienced

Overhead Crane Technician

for a short-term project in RLIC. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the maintenance and operation of overhead cranes, particularly in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of overhead cranes and related equipment. Troubleshoot issues related to wire ropes, rigging appliances, and rigging accessories. Ensure safe and efficient crane operations as per industry standards. Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and operational protocols, particularly ASME B30.5 standards. Report and document maintenance activities and inspection results.

Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in overhead crane maintenance and operation. Strong understanding of crane operations, wire rope criteria, rigging practices, and safety standards. Experience in

Oil & Gas

,

Petrochemical

, or

Power Plant

industries is mandatory. Must hold

valid trade certifications

relevant to the position.

Proficiency in English communication

(verbal and written) is required.
