OSS Fabrication Site Representatives required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact between the OSS Site Manager and project stakeholders on site.
• Provide regular updates to the OSS Site Manager and PMT as required on project progress and potential issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Monitor and follow up the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s project schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and ensure accurate and detailed project documentation from the Contractor, including plans, contracts, and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and permitting requirements in coordination with 3rd Party Execution Verification.
• Monitor proper coordination and sequencing of construction activities by the Contractor to optimise efficiency.
• Ensure that all parties comply with contractual obligations.
• Steering of QA/QC Lead to ensure compliance by the Contractor with specifications and regulations.
• Keeping an internal Issues Register where any observations, Open Points, Non-Conformance by the Contractor related to H&S, Ensu, Quality or other topics are raised via regular reporting to PMT.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability culture, driving and guiding internal and external stakeholders to support the project in achieving our obligations under CDM regulations.
• Ensure project complies with internal & external H&S requirements (e.g., HSE, ERP, CDM plans) representing Employer in Contractor led safety audits/walks.
• Check if the production processes are in line with time schedule and the ITP (all disciplines: structural, coating, mechanical, process, auxiliaries etc.)
• Needs to know, when to escalate topics to project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in mechanical / process engineering, or in a relevant field.
• Long term experience working with international contractors, minimum 10 years of experience.
• Fluent in English and has good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in construction and completion of topsides.
• Knowledge of various construction methods, materials, and processes relevant to fabrication of large topsides (preferably HVDC/HVAC).
• Understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards, specifically DNV and NORSOK.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools, Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word, Excel & Power Point.
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to identify and assist in solving problems and communicating this to the OSS Site Manager and/or PMT quickly and efficiently.
• Proactive approach to addressing challenges and opportunities with clear communication to OSS Site Manager and PMT and propose solutions.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and circumstances.
