Wood is currently recruiting for a Fabrication Site Manager at fabrication site responsible for overseeing the execution of all works in the yard (fabrication, commissioning, etc.) The role directly manages and is accountable for the planning and execution of the yard fabrication works, mechanical completion, commissioning and the offshore load-out of the modules of the project to ensure that the project objectives are achieved. Leads fabrication efforts to ensure the project is executed in accordance with ADNOC Offshore and project procedures and Shareholder expectations. Directly manages module fabrication in the yard and fabrication at other yards as required. Acts as primary Company representative at these sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Fabrication team to support the objectives and strategies

Champion safety in all fabrication aspects of UZ1.2MMBD and promote the safety objective that \xe2\x80\x9cNobody gets Hurt\xe2\x80\x9d

Manage the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s fabrication planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements

Establish a fabrication organization to implement the Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of fabrication team positions

Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures. Assist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans

Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability

Report fabrication progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team

Lead UZ1.2MMBD fabrication planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities

Sponsor fabrication related readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs

Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals in fabrication management

Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long term goals
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Administration

Minimum of fifteen years of previous oil and gas experience. Fabrication management experience on large oil and gas development projects

Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
