Ames products (foot & ankle)
. The role requires a strong background in
orthopedic implants and instruments
, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and procurement teams in a competitive market (Zimmer, Stryker, and others).
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell
Medacta knee, hip, and spine solutions
and
Ames foot & ankle products
to surgeons and healthcare providers.
Provide
technical expertise and intraoperative support
in the operating room during procedures.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with
orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and hospital decision-makers
.
Conduct
product presentations, workshops, and training sessions
for surgeons and medical staff.
Achieve sales targets and expand market share against competitors (Zimmer, Stryker, etc.).
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with
local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
.
Support tender submissions, quotations, and follow-up on contracts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to organize
conferences, exhibitions, and events
.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Nursing, or related field
.
Minimum
8-10 years of sales/technical experience
in orthopedic implants (knee, hip, spine, foot & ankle).
Strong knowledge of
orthopedic surgical techniques and OR protocols
.
Proven track record of
achieving sales targets
in the medical devices sector.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in the operating theater and provide real-time technical support.
Valid
Qatar driving license
preferred.
Fluent in
English
; Arabic is a plus.
